We are, of course, registered with the Care Inspectorate and you can check out our great inspection grades on their website. Our staff are all registered with the Scottish Social Services Council and professionally trained to care for and support primary school aged children.
We always strive to provide the best value childcare in your community and to be as inclusive and flexible as possible.
Based in Murieston Village Hall this service collects from Bellsquarry, Williamston, St Ninian’s, Carmondean, St. John Ogilvie and Mid Calder Primaries and is registered for 74 children per day. Situated right next to Livingston South train station this spacious venue had great facilities and free-flow access to its own grounds, which provide a range of outdoor play opportunities, as well as local woodland and parks.
This service is based in Simpson Primary school and only collects from Balbardie, St Mary’s and Simpson Primary schools. It is registered for 40 children each day and is located in the community wing of the school. We have full access to the wing, which is self-contained and has free-flow access to the school’s playground, as well as local play facilities and parks.
Wonder Woods is West Lothian’s first and only, fully outdoors woodland nursery, located in woodland at Harburn, near West Calder. It is for 2 ½ year olds to school age and is open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Thursday. It is a partnership nursery with West Lothian Council, which means that everyone can use their free childcare hours entitlement with us, or split the funding between two nurseries. As a fully outdoors, woodland nursery we are rooted in nature and have great facilities (including our purpose built, cosy, log cabin). We spend our days exploring and having adventures, as we play in and around the woodland, engage with nature, enjoy the campfire, and experience the tranquillity of our natural world.
This is based in our very own building on the main street in East Calder. This service collects from Calderwood, East Calder, St. Paul’s and Kirknewton Primaries and is registered for 66 children per day. The building is well laid out with a play room, games hall, dining room and free-flow access to our specially designed outdoor play area, as well as local parks and play facilities.
